This photo shows a 60 Ft French Drain System topped with flag stones. This system will collect and discharge surface and sub-surface water. A new foundation wall is being built. The old wall was constructed of clay tiles filled with dirt. The homeownder said it was a storage area for coal. We took out the old wall, which was falling in, and poured 16" wide by 8" deep footing with rebar and concrete. This new wall was constructed using blocks, rebar, concrete and a mortar mix. This photo shows a wall bracing in a crawlspace. YES, crawlspace walls can be braced!. Pusher Poles, Pusher Boards and adjustable screw heads.
